Join us for a guided winter hike to discover the hidden homes of park wildlife and special B.A.R.K. Ranger events. B.A.R.K. Rangers are encouraged to wear their finest Valentine’s day attire and participate in our kissing booth. On our hike, we’ll discuss the attributes of a B.A.R.K. Ranger. Participants will learn about local park rules, leash safety, wildlife protection, and the importance of Leave No Trace principles, especially proper waste disposal. Well behaved, social dogs are welcomed to come. All dogs must remain on a 6ft or less leash and be under control at all times. Current Rabies vaccination required. Wear comfortable hiking shoes and dress for the weather. B.A.R.K. Ranger Stickers will be given to all participants. Other B.A.R.K. Ranger items will be available in the visitor center. The hike will traverse both meadow and woods with some moderately steep and rocky terrain. Meet us at the Interpretive Center at 12:45 p.m. to start the hike. Register HERE.
