Stop by the Discovery Center and grab a booklet that will take your whole family on an adventure through time at Hungry Mother State Park. As you will learn, Hungry Mother is one of Virginia's six original state parks that was constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). With a GPS device or cell phone in hand, set out into the park to uncover hidden history and see what secrets you can find. Track down all ten geocaches and make a rubbing of each of the tools that built this park in your booklet. Then bring it back to the Discovery Center to claim a special prize.
