Rừng Dolostone Ridge và Valley – CEGL006030

The Ridge and Valley Dolostone Woodland is restricted to the geological Elbrook Formation and apparently endemic to a small area in southwest Virginia. The centrum of its range is the Pedlar Hills region in Montgomery County.  Here, a patch of this community occupies a ridgetop overlooking the South Fork Roanoke River and the town of Elliston.  Pedlar Hills State Natural Area Preserve. © DCR-DNH, Gary P.
